Overview:
We are searching for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to join our sales team.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market.
This includes targeting key accounts, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, and driving the sales process to achieve targets.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
The Area Sales Manager will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team, ensuring the team meets its sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for regions and territories
- Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Build and maintain customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Demonstrable experience as a head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field

2. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
3. Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
