Overview:
We want an energetic Area Sales Manager to join our sales team.
The Area Sales Manager is in charge of all sales operations in the given area and how they grow and are carried out.
This means going after important accounts, keeping the sales queue full, and leading the sales process to meet goals.
Our ideal individual knows a lot about how sales work and is great at finding new leads, making connections, and finishing deals.
The Area Sales Manager will also be in charge of keeping an eye on the sales team's work and actions to make sure they meet their sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Set sales goals by making sales projections and yearly sales goals for areas and territories.
- Create field sales action plans to put sales methods into action.
- Keep up with supply and demand, new trends, economic factors, and rivals to keep your sales volume, product mix, and selling price stable.
- Set and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Establish and sustain customer relationships by collaborating with them and comprehending their requirements.
- Provide the management team with realistic forecasts and sales, revenue, and expense reports.
- Find emerging markets and changes in existing ones, while also being aware of new goods and the level of competition.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or beating sales goals
- Worked as a sales assistant, sales manager, or sales and marketing head before
- Being able to talk, explain, and persuade at all levels of the company in a credible and convincing way
- Proven track record of getting sales from plan to close.
- Proven skill to explain what makes goods and services different
- Shown experience as a sales manager coming up with client-centered, unique, and doable solutions
- Highly effective at mentoring, coaching, and managing people
- Degree of BS or MS in business administration or a similar field
Some other requirements are:
1. Willingness to move within the area given.
2. A valid driver's license and access to a safe vehicle.
3. Being able to change with the times and adapt to new market situations and business goals.
